King of Prussia Mall
King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
7,000 tons
This expansion to the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania made a big mall much bigger. The expansion allowed the addition of a dining pavilion, several restaurants, 50 new retail stores, and over 1,100 parking spots. That brings the total number of stores and restaurants to 450, making the King of Prussia Mall the second largest mall in the United States. With the expansion’s new styling and many luxury brand stores, it is sure to improve the mall’s already top money making square footage and support 700 new jobs while doing so.
The original detailing schedule allowed for more than 10 months to finish submitting drawings for approval in all areas. After the project was held for approximately 7 months, the finish date was only allowed to push out several weeks. Minuteman Drafting once again stepped up to the challenge and stayed ahead of the fabrication and erection schedules. This was done even after losing over half a year of the detailing schedule as well as massive revisions that were made when the held areas were released.
