Minuteman Drafting, Inc. is a steel detailing company utilizing SDS/2 software to detail structural and/or misc. steel for projects that range from 10 tons up to 8,000 tons. Minuteman Drafting, Inc. can also provide additional value with other added services such as connection design, quality assurance checking of structural drawings for EORs, constructability checking of structural drawings for EORs, and project management. Our past projects include industrial buildings, high rises, stadiums, health care facilities, municipal buildings, duct work, bridges, bridge expansion joints, stairs, ladders, railing, malls, power plants, and much more. Our qualified staff has a combined 63 years of experience in the steel industry and understands how to help you meet your construction goals.

Minuteman Drafting, Inc. provides fast and accurate detailing and connection design that will meet the demands of your schedule. We strive to provide the highest quality product and do so faster than anyone else. We understand the demands that the construction industry puts on our clients and take action to help them meet those demands. We know that time is of the essence and that detailing errors can be costly. Emails and voicemails are typically turned around by our staff in minutes or hours not days and returned approval drawings are turned into fabrication drawings the same day in many cases. We strive to produce virtually error free connection design and shop details that you can count on.

Made at home. In a time where it seems everything will be outsourced overseas, we are proud to provide a quality 100% made in the USA product.

Our clients appreciate consistency and communications. Many fabricators have experienced problems due to communication break downs on the part of their detailer. In large part this is due to working with a ‘fly by night’ overseas detailing company. There are language barriers that prevent you from knowing that your detailer understands what is intended. These companies also lack experience. Minuteman Drafting, Inc. has the experienced staff with excellent communications skills and understand the construction industry. We give real schedule and keep them. We do not overbook and leave you with the consequences. We do not try to stall on drawings submittals as is all too common in the detailing world and we keep you up to date with the status of the project at all times. ‘Fly by night outfits are everywhere when there is a bid to submit, but nowhere to be found when you start running into problems in the shop or in the field where the cost is exponential.
